About Me

Roy Bartholomew Sonora completed high school in a Catholic institution. Within two years of college, he had secured his first position in the electrical industry. Roy Bartholomew understood as a young man that he would pursue the area of engineering due to his curiosity about how things function.

Even in other aspects of his life, he analyzed issues before making a choice. The period of improved electrical systems coupled with digital technology would fit his pragmatist disposition, as he would take the actual and proven path rather than the theoretical one.

Roy Bartholomew earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's degree in engineering management from Arizona State University.

As a young adult, Mr. Bartholomew owned and ran an electronic security company he had founded. In 1997, he sold the firm and went to school to earn a degree in engineering. He is a competent and seasoned electrical engineer who has completed a variety of engineering jobs, including:

Provide professional management of all operations for On Guard Systems, a multi-branch alarm firm, reporting directly to the CEO.

Worked closely with the CEO to provide leadership for the whole organization and to ensure the accuracy of reporting on the company's operational, sales, and service KPIs.

Spearheaded an aggressive marketing campaign that included all areas of telemarketing, canvassing, and print advertising; created and implemented the new strategy, which resulted in a revenue gain.

Progressively enhanced the procedures and suggested continual training for all departments, continuously decreasing operating expenditures and raising customer satisfaction.

Responsible for $10M+/- P&L – yearly revenue while supervising 50+/- personnel, including a sales team with up to 10 salespeople at any given time.

Roy Bartholomew has extensive and essential technical expertise with Fire Alarms, Access Control, Networked Video, Nurse-call, Intrusion, Intercom, and several other low-voltage specialty systems. His customer list includes Commercial, industrial, K-12, healthcare, government, and several more vertical industries.
